Welcome to The Portland Ballet’s Parent Portal. This page will contain enrollment/tuition forms, schedules, and other pertinent information that parents need access to throughout the year. The 2022-2023 Curriculum Program begins Tuesday, September 6th.

(Dancers are placed in Curriculum Level 6/Men 6 or Level 7/Men 7 in addition to CT classes)

*These levels are eligible to participate in the 2022 Thanksgiving and 2023 Spring Productions
+These levels may be accepted into the 2022-2023 Youth Company (refer to your placement letter for acceptance information)

To Enroll for the 2022-2023 year please follow the instructions below.

  1. Sign, & Submit the TUITION ENROLLMENT CONTRACT to TPB via email at registration@theportlandballet.org. – This contract must be submitted by every student/parent from Level 1 through Level 7 or Career Track.
  2. Non Youth Company Students in Level 3 through Level 7 who wish to participate in the Thanksgiving production must sign, & submit the THANKSGIVING PRODUCTION AGREEMENT to TPB via email at registration@theportlandballet.org along with your TUITION ENROLLMENT CONTRACT.
  3. Non Youth Company Students in Level 3 through Level 7 who wish to participate in the Spring production must sign, & submit the SPRING PRODUCTION AGREEMENT to TPB via email at registration@theportlandballet.org along with your TUITION ENROLLMENT CONTRACT.
  4. Students who have been selected to participate in Youth Company (refer to placement letter for acceptance information) must sign & submit the YOUTH COMPANY AGREEMENT to TPB via email at registration@theportlandballet.org along with your TUITION ENROLLMENT CONTRACT.
  5. Students who have been placed in Career Track must sign, submit the CAREER TRACK AGREEMENT to TPB via email at registration@theportlandballet.org along with your TUITION ENROLLMENT CONTRACT.

To apply for a scholarship:

  1. Complete above mentioned agreements and submit to TPB in person or via email at registration@theportlandballet.org by August 22, 2022.
  2. Go to mytads.com and click on “Financial Aid Assessment.” Complete entire application no later than August 22, 2022. A $55.00 application fee is due at the time of submission paid to MyTads. If the application fee is a barrier, please contact registration@theportlandballet.org for more information.

Scholarship recipients will be notified by August 29, 2022. No tuition charges will be made until scholarships are finalized.

Completing Enrollment:

New Students: Once the TUITION ENROLLMENT CONTRACT and (if applicable) your THANKSGIVING PRODUCTION AGREEMENT, SPRING PRODUCTION AGREEMENT, YOUTH COMPANY AGREEMENT, and/or CAREER TRACK AGREEMENT have been submitted to TPB, new students will receive an email inviting you to register with our enrollment system ClassBug. You will need to sign into the system to add your credit card information for tuition payments immediately. If you do not add your credit card information by August 30th, your dancer will not be able to participate in curriculum classes until you do and you may be subject to a late fee. To update your credit card information throughout the year, you will be able to log back into this system or contact TPB directly at 503.452.8448.

Current Students: Students who participated in the 2021-2022 Curriculum Program will not receive an email from ClassBug; continuing students will use their existing ClassBug account. Once the TUITION ENROLLMENT CONTRACT and (if applicable) your HOLIDAY PRODUCTION AGREEMENT, SPRING PRODUCTION AGREEMENT, YOUTH COMPANY AGREEMENT, and/or CAREER TRACK AGREEMENT have been submitted to TPB, you will need to sign into the system to add your credit card information for tuition payments immediately. If you do not add your credit card information by August 30th, your dancer will not be able to participate in curriculum classes until you do and you may be subject to a late fee. To update your credit card information throughout the year, you will be able to log back into this system or contact TPB directly at 503.452.8448. If you already have a credit card on file and you do not update your payment information by August 30, 2022, the existing card will be charged for your first tuition payment.
