Lisa Dillinger

Lisa Stickelman Dillinger received her training at San Francisco Ballet
School as a Ford Foundation Scholarship student and danced as an
original member of Pacific Northwest Ballet’s company where she was a
principal dancer under the direction of Janet Reed, Melissa Hayden, and
then continued to dance with the company under Kent Stowell & Francia
Russell, also as an original faculty member of Pacific Northwest Ballet
where she taught for 19 years. Lisa was recently a Part-Time
Supplemental Faculty Member in Dance Technique at the University of
Southern California Glorya Kaufman School of Dance. Lisa, before moving
to Portland, was a ballet instructor at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in
their elite DADA On Pointe program, Redbirds program, Debbie Allen
Middle School for the Arts program, and Academy program. Ms. Dillinger
has been on the faculty at Chicago City Ballet School, Kansas City Ballet
School as principal instructor, and Butler University. She was artistic
director and school director of Evansville Dance Theatre, Butler Ballet II
and Ballet Mistress of Butler’s Jordan College Academy of Dance. Ms.
Dillinger has been a guest teacher for Houston Ballet, Boston Ballet, Ballet
Chicago, and Columbia City Ballet, as well as other studios throughout the
United States. She also has started dance outreach programs for Boys &
Girls Clubs as well as adaptive dance programs for children with Downs
Syndrome. Lisa has been honored for her accomplishments in ballet by
being listed in the “Who’s Who in America “publication under dance. Lisa
was endorsed, November 2015, by the International Dance Council CID
UNESCO, a branch of the United Nations, for Ballet, Choreography,
Dance, Performing Arts, and theatre. She is also A certified Progressing
Ballet Technique instructor.
